Ankra keeps each minted password encrypted in its secret store and verifies it against the enforced hash before answering, so the answer always opens the current previews. The response is not cacheable. 409 demo_not_protected when the demos have no password; 409 demo_password_not_retrievable when the password was set before Ankra kept preview passwords (rotate it to get one that can be read); 503 secret_store_unavailable when the platform runs without a secret store.
