# Take a held platform update

> Takes Ankra's update on a held platform update card (a `platform_component_update_held` notification): Ankra applies exactly the platform add-on updates the card names as waiting for your call, at the versions it shows, on the next publish of their stack. On a cluster that is production, or that nobody has confirmed is not production, Ankra holds every platform add-on version or image update and asks you instead; this is how you take one set of them without editing YAML. A version someone on your team chose is kept and listed under `kept`, and an update still waits while the cluster's agent or control plane cannot take it. A later, newer version is held again and raises a new card. Send the card's `data.fingerprint`: a card that changed since you read it is refused with 409, so you never take updates you have not seen. Every take is recorded in the cluster's audit log with who took which update. Requires `clusters.write` on the cluster.

  title: Ankra Platform API
  version: v1
  description: >-
    The Ankra platform HTTP contract. The /api/v1 surface is the public,
    bearer-authenticated API used by the Ankra CLI, MCP clients and automation;
    send a personal or service API token as `Authorization: Bearer <token>`.
    Browser routes under /org and /chat are served on api.platform.ankra.app
    (each declares that server); they and /oauth/access authenticate with the
    ankra_session cookie, and mutations also require the X-Ankra-CSRF header.
    Every operation declares the credential it accepts, and no operation is
    served without one. This document is published deliberately: it describes
    the contract only and carries no organisation data or credentials. Report
    security issues to security@ankra.ai (see /.well-known/security.txt).
