# Git Providers

> What Ankra supports on GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket Cloud - cluster GitOps, Applications, Ankra Pipelines triggers, PR previews, AI code review and merge when green - in one table.

Before you connect a repository, you need to know whether the features you want work on the Git host you use. Ankra connects to GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket Cloud, and they do not all support the same things. This table is the single place that says which.

## Events Ankra reads

| Bitbucket Cloud | `repo:push`, `pullrequest:created`, `pullrequest:updated`, `pullrequest:comment_created`, `pullrequest:fulfilled`, `pullrequest:rejected` | GitOps sync, pipeline runs, AI review and mention replies |

On Bitbucket Cloud the pull request events need the credential to grant the `pullrequest` scope. See [Granting the pull request permission](/integrations/bitbucket-cloud#granting-the-pull-request-permission).

## Not supported

* **Bitbucket Data Center** and other self-hosted Bitbucket servers. A cluster spec naming `bitbucket_dc` is refused.
* **GitLab as a cluster's GitOps repository.** Keep cluster configuration on GitHub or Bitbucket Cloud. GitLab repositories can still run Ankra Pipelines and get AI review.
